Position: Lead Surveyor Personnel (Full-Time)Location: Mogadishu, Somalia

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: 2500-$3500

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Surveyor to join our team in Mogadishu, Somalia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in land surveying, with a strong background in both field and office work. The Surveyor will be responsible for co

nducting surveys, analyzing data, and preparing reports to support all formwork and building elevations, as well as coordinating all work related to surveying.Key Responsibilities
• Conduct land surveys using advanced surveying equipment and technology.
• Prepare and maintain accurate survey records, maps, and reports.
• Analyze survey data and prepare detailed reports for project management.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure project accuracy and compliance.
• Manage survey projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
• Perform boundary and topographic surveys, as well as construction staking.
• Ensure all surveying activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior surveyors and support staff.
• Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and technology.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in land surveying.
• Proficient in using surveying instruments (e.g., GPS, total stations, levels) and software (e.g., AutoCAD, GIS).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A professional land surveying license is preferred but not mandatory.

Desired Skills
• Experience working in international or remote project locations.
• Knowledge of local land laws and regulations in Somalia (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with advanced surveying technologies such as LiDAR and drones.
